Locking tab fitment issues

I appreciate that someone makes re-pops of these connectors, but the locking tab is either too short to click into place, or the body of the connector is too long to allow the tab to seat into place. I begrudgingly dremeled some length off of the car-side mating connector in order to make it work, which it did. Not the end of the world, but not the ideal solution I had hoped I was purchasing either.

These are OE connectors and terminals from the manufactor that originally supplied them to Nissan, not a reproduction piece. Should not of been any trimming needed but may be a seating issue with dirt/grime or a terminal locking failure on the mating connector. Theres also always the possibility of manufacture tolerances being off but feel free to reach out any time so we can look at whats going on and try to either remediate or develope a solution.
